We bought Caravelle Cottage as a holiday home and let it out to help pay for the fees. It is in a wonderful position and we are very happy to be able to spend time there.

Having visited Normandy as a teenager on a school-exchange programme, I formed a great love for the area that has grown deeper over the years, and my family have grown to love it too. The surrounding area is full of things to do and see, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the food and drink superb and diverse. You can get traditional Norman food, which is rich local produce such as butter, cream, apples, cheese and the occasional drop of cider, and includes wonderful sea food and fish, fabulous crepes and galettes, plus more English fayre is available if that is your preference.
