Who we are
We bought Caravelle Cottage as a holiday home and let it out to help pay for the fees. It is in a wonderful position and we are very happy to be able to spend time there.
Having visited Normandy as a teenager on a school-exchange programme, I formed a great love for the area that has grown deeper over the years, and my family have grown to love it too.
The surrounding area is full of things to do and see, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the food and drink superb and diverse. You can get traditional Norman food, which is rich local produce such as butter, cream, apples, cheese and the occasional drop of cider, and includes wonderful sea food and fish, fabulous crepes and galettes, plus more English fayre is available if that is your preference.
You can make your time at Bellefontaine as relaxing or exciting as you like, from chilling out on the terrace with a book, to dipping in the pool or going off site to play a full round of golf or daring to do a bungee jump, both available locally.
Just one type event we have been to this year was the big Easter Day get together meal at Bellefontaine - a 4 course meal, entertainment and the company of other guests at the park, local people and friends of friends. Followed by an evening of entertainment by an X Factor finalist. Add snow in to the picture, and you get a fantastic atmosphere.
Bellefontaine -A great time had by all!
